James Corner is the Founding Partner and CEO of James Corner Field Operations, a leading-edge landscape architecture and urban design studio based in New York City. He has devoted the past 30 years to advancing the field of landscape architecture and urbanism, through his leadership on high visibility, complex urban projects at Field Operations, as well as through teaching, public speaking and writing.

Important public realm design projects include New York’s much-acclaimed High Line; London’s South Park at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park; Santa Monica’s Tongva Park; Chicago’s Navy Pier; Cleveland’s Public Square; Philadelphia’s Race Street Pier; Hong Kong’s Salisbury Gardens and Tsim Tsa Tsui Waterfront; and Shenzhen’s new city of Qianhai, a new coastal city for 3-million people. He is currently leading the design for San Francisco’s Presidio New Parklands, a 14-acre new park connecting the Main Post of the Presidio to Crissy Field and the Bay.

James’ work has been recognized with the National Design Award; the American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture; and the AA&D Black Pencil Award. His books include The High Line (Phaidon, 2015); The Landscape Imagination (Princeton, 2014), and Taking Measures Across the American Landscape (Yale, 1996).

He was named by TIME as one of “Ten Most Influential Designers,” by Fast Company as one of the “Top 50 Innovators,” and has been featured in Monocle, Wallpaper, Culture D, National Geographic, Bloomberg Businessweek and the New York Times among other publications.

Beijing-born architect Ma Yansong is recognized as an important voice in the new generation of architects. As the founder and principal of MAD Architects, Ma leads design across various scales. In recent years, many of Ma’s designs follow his conception of the “Shanshui City”, which is his vision to create a new balance among society, the city and the environment through new forms of architecture.

◤Absolute Towers, nicknamed as “Marilyn Monroe Towers”, is located in Toronto. He is the first Chinese architect to win an overseas landmark-building project.

Since designing the “Floating Island” in 2002, Ma has been exploring this idea through an international practice. At MAD, Ma has created a series of imaginative works, including Absolute Towers, Hutong Bubble 32, Ordos Museum, China Wood Sculpture Museum, Fake Hills, etc.

◤Harbin Opera House was named the best Cultural Architecture in 2015 by ArchDaily. 

Ma graduated from the Beijing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Yale University. He is currently a professor in Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

◤In 2014, Ma was selected as the principal designer for Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Chicago, which made him the first Chinese architect to design overseas culture landmark.

In 2006, Ma was awarded the “Young Architects Award” by the Architectural League of New York. In 2008 he was selected as one of the “20 Most Influential Young Architects” by ICON magazine. Fast Company respectively named him one of the “10 Most Creative People in Architecture in 2009” and one of the “100 Most Creative People in Business in 2014.”

◤In 2017, MAD Architects, led by Ma Yansong, completed “Chaoyang Park Plaza”, which includes the Armani apartment complex. 

In 2010 he became the first architect from China to receive a RIBA fellowship. In 2014 he was awarded “Young Global Leaders (YGL)” by World Economic Forum. In 2012, his iconic project “Absolute Towers,” two residential towers in Mississauga, Canada was named the “Best Tall Building in the Americas” by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), and was ranked first in EMPORIS’s 2013 “Skyscraper Awards”.

Liu Shuting, CEO of SuperMonkey. Her nickname is Tiaotiao. Four years ago, her team consisting of six people created special pay-per-use fitness experience by a 24-hour container gym which provides appointment scheduling service.

◤SuperMonkey Jingan Store. So far, it has operated a total of 40 stores in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing.

Tiaotiao graduated in Architectural Design from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2006, she started her career as Party B. During 2010 to 2013, she worked in Vanke, and assisted in founding Vanke Long-distance Running Club. From 2013 to 2014, she took the job of real estate design and management in Tianan Cyber Park. And she was inspired in one investment project to create a 24-hour pay-per-use container gym without annual fee or hawking. It was the first product of SuperMonkey.

◤As an explorer in new fitness experience, SuperMonkey keeps moving forward, and focus developing original lesson plans and better coachers.

In July 2017, it launched its first original lesson plan, named FIGHTING COMBO™. Until now, its lessons contain UPPER SHAPER™, BUTT SHAPER™, and THE BLOOMING™. And it is still making more efforts to this aspect.

◤In March 2018, with the launching of Urban sports showcase campaign, its brand was upgraded.

From architect, to a new life-style designer, she has served as CEO and HR in SuperMonkey for four years. So far, it has operated a total of 40 stores in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing. And it is about to open 100 urban sports showcases around the country, including Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou. Driven by sincerity and passion, she encourages young people to seek the hidden SUPER ME in their body by sports.

Shen Aihua, Deputy Urban Planner in Suzhou New District, graduated from Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology. She has 15-year work experience in Suzhou Planning and Construction Department.

◤Suzhou Amusement Land will be transformed to Shishan Square, covering a planning area of 1325 mu, and a total investment of 5.4 billion.

◤Shen Aihua leads and participates in the landscape design, architectural design of Shishan Square.

In 2005, she took part in the master plan of Suzhou, urban design of Suzhou New District, Area planning of Dayang Mountain.

◤SND Cultural and Sports Centre is one of the Ten Cultural Projects in Suzhou.

Li Changle, graduated from School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, has abundant work experience in experimental architect studio, large-scale international design group, and Hongkong listed company. In 2006, he joined in Vanke Group which was founded in 1984 and has become a leading service provider in urban and rural development and life in China. In 2017, it was ranked 307th on Fortune Global 500.

◤Chen Yinke, a famous Chinese historian, called for independent spirits and free ideas 90 years ago. Vanke Dajia features white sandstone, metal grills, and light eaves, telling its beauty of order, culture, time, and nature.

Li Changle has taken charge of Vanke’s products in different cities, such as headquarters, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Chengdu, and Suzhou, for 12 years. Under his guidance, the projects garnered a plenty of design awards both at home and abroad. 

◤Vanke Park Avenue Sales Center won the 2017 Golden Bund Award presented by Interior Design. Dajia was a winner of many prizes, too, including ICONIC2018, WAF2018, Structural Awards2018, etc.

In 2016, Li Changle served as a product partner of Suzhou Vanke, and launched a series of product lines based on the city, including “Park” and “Dajia”. The landscape in THE PARK of Vanke was the most attractive design in Gooood in 2017.

◤THE PARK focuses on nature, health, peace, comfort. And that is also Li Changle’s goal to develop a balance between body and mind, an interactive community, and a life style.

Every THE PARK of Vanke is located in a park with scenic landscape, connected to the city. It also represents a new concept of urban-park life.

Li Changle is working on cultural communication, design communities, product development and innovation.

Isa Ye has bachelor’s degrees in design and marketing and a master’s degree in economics. She is an expert at big-event planning and brand-marketing. Before embarking on her career in the design and media sector, she had worked in the consulting, manufacturing and fashion media industries. What’s more, she had served as publisher of Domus China for ten years, and producer of Green and other publications in collaboration with The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. She has established in-depth collaboration with more than 400 globally renowned companies and prestigious domestic brands.

◤The most established design magazine in Italy, domus, since its inception in 1928, has grown into one of the world’s most dynamic and influential design publication because of its objective, timely and thorough coverage of the design and art-related developments around the world from unique lenses.

Shuhei Aoyama, founder & Principal Architect of B.L.U.E. Architecture Studio, Lecturer of North China University of Technology, graduated from Osaka University in 2003, and earned his mater’s degree in University of Tokyo in 2005.

◤Reconstruction of Baita Temple Hutong Compound. The traditional spaces are integrated with new life style, becoming a more livable place for young people. And at the same time, the original spatial patterns are still respected and maintained.

During 2005 to 2012, he worked in SAKO Architects, and led the design of Tanggu Yuanyang International Primary School. In 2008, he won the silver prize of JCD Design Award. In 2012, he was invited to be a lecturer of School of Architecture and Art in North China University of Technology.

◤house vision: Sharing Community of 400 Boxes

In 2014, He founded B.L.U.E. Architecture Studio in Beijing. He was selected as one of Ten Up-and-coming Interior Designers by China Building Decoration Association, 40 UNDER 40 Chinese Young Design Elite (2016-2017), and was recognized as China’s Best International Entrepreneurs – Yicai Brilliant 20 2017, and Young Designer Model 2017 by Beijing Youth Weekly.

◤Reconstruction of Nanluoguxiang Compound. By utilizing skylight, it solves the problem of insufficient lighting caused by small window area, without occupying storage spaces on the wall.

His portfolio includes Reconstruction of Nanluoguxiang Compound (which won silver prize of Architectural Society of China Design Award 2016), Dengkou L-shaped House (which earned the Best Apartment Design of Jingtang Prize 2016), “Lost and Found” Furniture Store, house vision: Sharing Community of 400 Boxes, Suzhou Youxiong Apartment, Reconstruction of Baita Temple Hutong Compound, and so forth.
